Luxury travel to Peru

the destination

Peru is located in South America, hemmed in by Ecuador to the North, Colombia to the North-East, Brazil to the East, and Bolivia and Chile to the South. It is facing the Pacific Ocean to the West. The seat of the Incan Empire is rich with natural resources, age-old culture and traditions, boasts mouth-watering culinary specialties, has countless trekking trails and adventures waiting to be discovered, and is home to an incredible flora and fauna that can be found nowhere else on Earth.

Peru is a very ancient nation and a place of mythical beliefs, where visitors come to admire the extraordinary Inca citadel of Machu Picchu, explore the archaeological site of Chan Chan, or fly over the puzzling Nazca Lines. Immerse yourself in lost civilizations, feel the history pulsating through its ruins and remnants, and you will leave the country a little closer to the past.

Exquisite cuisine is one of the reasons why you should visit Peru. The icy Humboldt Current that flows through the Pacific Ocean just off the coast supports one of the world’s most generous sources of seafood, and thus the Ceviche has become one of the most popular dishes. If Peru had a national dish, it would probably be that one.

The Inca Empire is a prime adventure destination in South America – the Peruvian coastline is covered in giant sand dunes, the Andes run high and offer a multitude of fun activities such as zip lining, biking, hiking and paragliding, and the Amazon forest is a stunningly diverse region that provides plenty of reasons for visiting. A further breath-taking place is the Cordillera Blanca, the world’s highest tropical mountain range, which encompasses some of South America’s highest mountains such as the Nevado Alpamayo and Nevado Huascarán.

With Peru being so diverse in its climate, temperatures and terrain, there are many different species of animals and plants living in this country, providing yet another reason for your visit: pink dolphins swimming in fresh water, pumas hiding in the Andean mountains, and the beloved Llamas strolling around Incan sites are some of the highlights that you would discover!
