AFRICAN SAFARI LUXURY TRAVEL
the experience
Africa offers some of the world’s most spectacular scenes. Its prolific wildlife brings the magnificent landscapes to life and adds a unique personality to the African continent. Many of our planet’s largest animals call Africa their home: elephants, hippos, lions, jaguars, zebras and giraffes – living together in the abundant national parks, wandering through the swaying savannahs and reddish dunes, uniting peacefully around waterholes and rivers, and offering phenomenal sightings in front of soaring mountains and hypnotic landscapes!
Undoubtedly the best ways to experience the call of the wild is to embark on a safari. As this continent is so vast, each country on the African soil offers different excursions with drastically diverse backdrops. The two regions which provide the most spectacular game viewings are the South and the East.
Sinuous rivers, dramatic landscapes and varied fauna and flora characterize the southern regions of the continent. South Africa is an amalgam of culture and extraordinary wildlife sightings such as the Big Five in north-eastern Kruger National Park, which is flanked by conservancies of the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve. If you are looking for new adventures, head to Botswana which features an incredibly diverse fauna around the Okavongo Delta, blood-red dunes in the Kalahari Desert and massive elephant herds in the northeast’s Chobe National Park. Namibia has Africa’s largest reserve with the Namib-Naukluft National Park, and the Etosha National Park is renowned for plains game, the Big Five, vast herds of gazelle and antelope, hundreds of species and birds, and breath-taking desert landscapes.
East Africa for comparison is synonymous with wide open plains, pristine beaches, volcanic landscapes and epic wildlife. Make your way to Zambia to marvel at the impressive Victoria Falls and the game-rich Lower Zambezi National Park. Renowned Tanzania features the Serengeti, site of the Great Migration which is arguably the most astounding wildlife spectacle in the world. Every year hundreds of thousands of zebras, wildebeests and gazelles move in a clockwise direction through the Serengeti National Park in search of food and water. In Tanzania’s Ngorongoro Crater basin – one of the world’s most compact wildlife venues – you can spot a thousand hippos sharing a mud bath. Further north, discover Kenya with the Maasai Mara National Reserve, as well home to the Great Migration, and travel through the Great Rift valley to watch the flamingo-covered waters. Finally, head to Rwanda and Uganda to track the mountain-gorillas in the Virunga Mountains which encompass the Volcanoes National Park and the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
African safaris are an unforgettable experience offering a complete change of the hustle of your daily life. Get in touch with the most amazing wildlife, experience adventure, unique cultures and stunning scenery. Safaris are truly enjoyable, catered for everyone’s needs, whether you are old or young, adventurous or prudent, a couple, single or a family, it doesn’t matter: an African safari will offer you the most memorable experience of a lifetime in a place surrounded by spectacular beauty.
